Developer - Mobile Applications (Swift, Java)

Epraise is excited to offer a new role at our innovative education sector company, developing mobile applications for use by our students, parents and teachers.

Since our beginnings in 2009, epraise has continued to grow each year and we now have over 300,000 registered users worldwide. We aim to do three things; motivate students, engage parents and save teachers time, through the use of our online platform. We work with schools on a number of areas including achievement, behaviour, assessment, attendance, homework and parental engagement. Our platform makes a real difference to children’s lives - we’re proud of what we’ve built and we’re looking forward to what the future holds.

Mobile applications are becoming more and more important in education and so we’re looking to appoint a developer with at least a years’ experience to build on our existing mobile applications. You will need to have a good knowledge of both Android and iOS platforms, and be highly competent in both Swift and Java. Being able to program websites based on PHP and MySQL will also be very useful. Most importantly, you will work well within a small team and be keen to get involved in things outside of your areas of expertise.

You would be responsible for managing future developments and roll-outs to our schools based on feedback from schools, our plans and your ideas. We are a small, dynamic company, which allows us to do some exciting things and move ideas forward much faster than the competition.

We are a very friendly and happy team with a great office, good working hours (8:30-4:30) and plenty of development opportunities on offer. If you’d like to find out more about epraise, please visit our website at epraise.co.uk. We look forward to hearing from you.
