Email notifications

Available now

We're excited to announce that our completely redesigned email notifications are now live! These refreshed notifications feature a cleaner, more modern layout that's significantly more visually appealing and informative than our previous designs.

The new email templates have been rebuilt from the ground up to provide better readability across all devices, with improved accessibility features and a more professional appearance.

We've adjusted the amount of contextual information to help users prioritise their emails more effectively. You'll notice enhanced formatting, clearer action buttons, and better organisation of information throughout all system-generated emails.

This comprehensive redesign affects all automated emails including message notifications, incident report alerts, weekly bulletins, parents' evening invitations, and more. The improved templates ensure that important school communications stand out in busy inboxes.

Mobile check-ins

Available now

Following the successful launch of Check-ins earlier this year, we're thrilled to bring this essential wellbeing feature to our mobile applications. Both iOS and Android users can now complete their wellbeing check-ins directly from their phones, making it more convenient than ever for staff and students to stay connected with their school community.

The mobile check-in experience has been carefully designed to be quick and intuitive. Users can rate their wellbeing on the familiar 1-5 scale and select their main concerns from the same comprehensive categories available on the web platform - whether it's classwork, homework, family matters, social issues, or other concerns.

Mobile check-ins sync seamlessly with the web platform, ensuring that school leaders have access to the same powerful analytics and insights regardless of how users choose to submit their responses. This flexibility is crucial for building consistent engagement with wellbeing monitoring across your school community.

Other notable improvements

Available now

As always, we've been working on many smaller improvements to enhance your experience across the platform:

  • We've added new settings for our APIs, allowing schools to switch them on and off, and for the first time schools can turn on the JSON API themselves without asking the support team for help.
  • We've significantly improved the performance of our messenger feature, and pages should now load up to 10x faster.
  • We've added some new statistics for our report a concern feature to allow a better understanding of how quickly issues are responded to.
  • We've improved the group interventions view so you can now add interventions directly from this modal window.
  • We've tweaked the class pass and interventions supervision views, so that the images will load in more detail and they will update more reliably.
  • We've added the ability for schools to reset codes between two dates.
  • We've added the ability to set the MIS link to ignore previously added houses, so you can add houses directly into ePraise if you wish.
  • We've added the ability to merge staff members.
  • We've added the ability to sync pre-nursery children.

More Veracross integration improvements

Coming soon

We're making significant enhancements to our Veracross integration to provide even deeper connectivity between the two platforms. Soon, schools using Veracross will benefit from automatic syncing of house information and student photos, ensuring that your ePraise environment stays perfectly aligned with your student information system. We're also developing behaviour writeback functionality, which will allow ePraise behaviour data to be seamlessly transferred back into Veracross, creating a complete loop of student information management between the platforms.
